San Jose Sharks re-sign Mike Moore

SHARKS RE-SIGN DEFENSMAN MIKE MOORE
SAN JOSE, CA – San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has re-signed defenseman Mike Moore. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Moore, 25, recently completed his second full season with Worcester, collecting 22 points (3-19=22) and 82 penalty minutes in 64 games. He was named Worcester’s “Man of the Year” for the second straight season for his contributions to the Worcester community.
Moore has tallied 40 points (8-32=40) and 230 penalty minutes in 143 career games with Worcester.
The six-foot-one, 200-pound native of Calgary, Alberta, was originally signed by San Jose as a free agent on April 8, 2008.
