               SAN JOSE SHARKS RECALL FORWARD RYAN VESCE FROM WORCESTER
 
            SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled forward Ryan Vesce from the Worcester Sharks, the team’s top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.
 
Vesce leads Worcester with 68 points (22 goals, 46 assists) in 63 games and was selected to the2009 PlanetUSA AHL All-Star Team.  He is currently tied for seventh overall among AHL scorers and fourth in assists.
 
He has played in two games with San Jose, registering two penalty minutes.
 
Vesce was originally signed by San Jose as a free agent on August 12, 2008.  He played collegiately for four seasons at Cornell, where he was a teammate of Douglas Murray.
