Sharks in the Community: Give Moore for the Holidays
Now in its 6th season, “Give Moore for the Holidays” is a player driven toy drive to benefit local families. A program that originated by former Worcester Sharks captain and defenseman Mike Moore, each season Worcester Sharks players participate by purchasing toys for children from the Rainbow Child Development Center of Worcester.

This season, the Sharks invited 20 families to attend the Worcester Sharks game vs. the Manchester Monarchs on December 13, 2013.  After the game, the Worcester Sharks players presented gifts to the kids as part of "Give Moore for the Holidays".

Sharks players have treated several families to a hockey game and a total of over $12,500 of toys over the last five seasons.

The player driven charity has spread throughout professional hockey and over 20 other teams now participate!
