FINZ Checks In

Hey Sharks Fans!  Finz here!  What a great week I recently had!  The fun all started on Thursday at the Summer Fest Block Party on Commercial St.  For $10 there were all sorts of food, drink and music.  Kevin Shea of Charter’s Channel 3 News sang wonderfully with Mulligan Stew.  I was lucky enough to get on stage and dance.  I would have performed myself but I’m more of a silent entertainer.

On Friday, I decided to make an appearance at the Bank of America Championship in Concord, MA.  It was the Senior PGA golf tour.  I guess if I can’t be skating around on the ice, what better way to spend time in the sun than on the greens with some great golf pros?  Also in attendance were my mascot friends from New England Revolution and the Brockton Rox.  The event was a blast, and the free food didn’t hurt either.

Those people in Fitchburg really know how to throw a party.  I decided to splash my way into the St. Bernard’s Summer Carnival on Saturday, and what a blast it was.  There were all sorts of delicious greasy foods to fill my stomach with, some pretty intense rides (I’m not kidding, that little train is wild), and of course tons of new friends to make.  The folks there were great and could not have been more enjoyable to hang out with.

Perhaps the best part of my evening was all the support I received from the guy on the PA.  I felt like a real celebrity as he announced my presence and gave props to my favorite team in the world, the Worcester Sharks!  Who knew a bearded guy on the roof of a burger stand could have such a drawing effect?

Well, that’s all for now.  I can’t wait for my next adventure, and of course, just over a hundred days before hockey season gets underway!  I’ll catch you all later!

Love,

FINZ
