Matt Nieto (2nd) made it 6-1 at :49 seconds of the 3rd period with a 5-on-3 power play strike and Freddie Hamilton (6th) followed up with his 2nd of the game at 6:45 for a 7-1 Sharks lead. Brendan Shinnimin (3rd) deflected a shot from the point past Sateri at 7:17 but Marek Viedensky (1st) finished the scoring at 18:03 with his first strike of the year to cap off the Sharks win at 8-2.
