Wingels Back to Worcester

SHARKS RECALL DEFENSEMAN JUSTIN BRAUN FROM WORCESTER
Forward Tommy Wingels Reassigned
         
SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Justin Braun from the Worcester Sharks, the team’s top development affiliate in the American Hockey League. Forward Tommy Wingels has been reassigned to Worcester
 
Braun has posted one assist in three games with Worcester this season.
 
In 28 career NHL games, all with San Jose, Braun has 11 points (two goals, nine assists) and two penalty minutes.
 
            The six-foot-two, 200-pound native of Minneapolis, MN was originally selected by San Jose in the seventh round (201st overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
 
            Wingels played in three games with San Jose this season, picking his first NHL point (0-1=1) on Oct. 8 vs. Phoenix.
