Harri Sateri headed to Worcester
SJ SHARKS REASSIGN GOALTENDER HARRI SATERI TO WORCESTER
SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned goaltender Harri Sateri from the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL to the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League.
Sateri, 21, dressed for his first NHL game on Oct. 8 vs. Phoenix, backing up Thomas Greiss.
In 2010-11 he played in 37 games for Tampere of the Finnish Elite League, posting a 9-19-8 record with a 2.96 goals against average. Sateri also played in seven games for Worcester, posting a 1-3-1 record with a 2.56 goals against average and a .918 save percentage.
The 6-foot-1, 210-pound native of Toijala, Finland was selected by San Jose in the fourth round (106th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
