WORCESTER, MA– Worcester Sharks President Michael A. Mudd  has announced today the special events surrounding the Worcester Sharks 2011-12 season home opener at the DCU Center in Worcester on Saturday, October 15^th at 7:00p.m. vs. the Albany Devils as the Sharks kick-off their 6^th season of hockey in Worcester.  Opening Night is presented by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care.

Members from several youth hockey organizations will be on-ice welcoming the 2011-12 Worcester Sharks during a special introduction by a Sharks representative introducing the opening night roster.
