![]() Hello Sharks Fans,
Mike Moore here, checking in from Calgary, Alberta.
Hopefully everyone has been having a great summer. Mine has been awesome so far. I was in Toronto for the first half and trained with Kevin Henderson at Twist Conditioning. The workouts were intense and we had a great group of pro guys. Every week our workout group gave out a championship belt (like the WWE) to the guy who worked the hardest. Hendo had won it two weeks in a row, but my last week in Toronto I won the belt from him and left the province as a champion. Sorry Hendo!
From Toronto it was on to Calgary, where I am back in the gym with my longtime trainer Doug Crashley at Crash Conditioning. It’s great to be back working with Doug for another summer, both him and Mike Potenza (SJ Sharks Conditioning Coach) are really on the same page. It is also nice to be back home and see my family and friends.
At the end of last season I had a bad injury but I am really happy to be back 100% both on and off the ice. Thanks to Dr. Mike Prebag for some great treatment in Toronto and thanks for a phenomenal surgery by Dr. Julia Kenniston in Providence.
See you around the rink,
Mike
