Kick Shark Week off in style at the Buffone Arena at 1:30pm with the Worcester Sharks

 

WORCESTER, MA – Worcester Sharks President Michael A. Mudd announced today the details surrounding the free public skate at the Buffone Skating Arena on Lake Ave in Worcester on Monday, August 1^st at 1:30pm.

 

With one of the hottest summers in recent memory blazing throughout central Massachusetts, the Worcester Sharks want you to COOL off with a FREE SKATE on Monday and kick off SHARK WEEK in style!

 

Join Worcester Sharks forward John McCarthy and FINZ for a free public skate on one half of the ice and a YOUTH HOCKEY skate and shoot around with pads at the other end! All skaters must wear helmets.

 

SHARK WEEK with the Worcester Sharks will begin on Monday, August 1 and run through Friday, August 5. Each day during the week, Sharks fans will have a chance to win prizes and attend special events!   Check out the schedule below;

 

MONDAY – Join Sharks forward John McCarthy to “Beat the Heat” and kick-off Shark Week in style with a FREE public skate and youth hockey shoot and skate around at the Buffone Skating Arena at 284 Lake Ave in Worcester from 1:30-3pm! Bring your skates and cool off with FINZ at the rink!
