San Jose Sharks recall four players

SHARKS RECALL LW BRANDON MASHINTER, LW JAMIE McGINN, C ANDREW DESJARDINS AND G THOMAS GREISS
 
            SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled left wing Brandon Mashinter, left wing Jamie McGinn, center Andrew Desjardins and goaltender Thomas Greiss.
 
            Mashinter appeared in 13 games with San Jose this season, posting 17 penalty minutes.  With the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League, Mashinter had 33 points (14 goals, 19 assists) and 96 penalty minutes.
 
            McGinn had six points (one goal, five assists) in 49 games with San Jose this season.  With Worcester, he had 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists) in 30 games.
 
            Desjardins played in 17 games with the San Jose, notching three points (one goal, two assists).  With Worcester, Desjardins posted 29 points (12 goals, 17 assists), 69 penalty minutes and a team-best +14.
 
            Greiss spent the 2010-11 season in the Swedish Elite League with Brynas, where he appeared in 32 games with a 2.92 goals-against average and a .892 save percentage.
