As the offseason winds down make sure to check out this weekend's events as a part of the Worcester Sharks Summer Days presented by Irving Oil

 

            Finz will be at the Cub Scout Pack 147 kickoff pack meeting this Friday from 6:30-7:00pm in Oxford, MA. This looks to be an exciting event as the boys of Scout Pack 147 look forward to another great year.

 

            Finz will be at the St. Vincent Hospital’s ikids safety fair in Worcester this weekend from 10:30am-12:00pm. The event will run from 10am-2pm and will be filled with fun activities for kids of all ages. The event will be complete with demonstrations, emergency vehicle tours, martial arts shows, a magic show, as well as a teddy bear clinic. The kids will learn about topics of first aid, car safety, stranger awareness and how to deal with bullies.

 

            Finz will be at the YMCA Boroughs Family Branch in Westborough from 12:15-1:15pm to kick off the America on the Move Week Campaign. This is a nationwide event occurring at YMCA branches all over the country. The event it set up to promote healthier lifestyles for kids. It is a weeklong operation filled with demonstrations and capped off with a family Barbeque.

 

            Finz will be at the Start on the Street Festival on Park Avenue in Worcester this weekend from 3:00-4:00pm. This festival will be filled with various arts and crafts activities for kids aimed to promote the future of art and culture in the city. The event will be catered by various restaurants and cafés from the Worcester area. A number of different artists will also be playing live music all day.

            Finz will make an appearance at Gardner’s Veterans Arena for the season kickoff day from 3-4pm. The event will be from 2:20-4:40pm. Along with Finz, Wally the Green Monster will also appear at the event which will have live music, free public skating as well as a free barbeque.
