Eric Lindquist
Director of Public Relations and Broadcasting

Eric Lindquist returns for his sixth season as the “Voice of the Sharks” on 580AM and 94.9FM WTAG. This nine-year broadcasting veteran will also direct all team public relations matters and structure the Sharks broadcast deals.

Lindquist is also the play-by-play announcer for all Sharks games televised on Charter TV-3 and the NHL Network. He called the action for the 2009 AHL All-Star Game in Worcester on Sirius XM Radio and XM Canada. 

Before joining the Sharks, Lindquist served as director of media relations and baseball operations and was the voice for the Golden Baseball League’s Long Beach Armada. Lindquist joined the Armada after spending one season as the director of media relations and play-by-play announcer for the ECHL’s Long Beach Ice Dogs.

Lindquist does have Massachusetts ties. He’s a native of North Andover and was the color commentator for the former Lowell Lock Monsters (AHL) and the Lowell Spinners, the single-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

He’s a graduate of Northeastern University where he called the action for the school’s men’s hockey and baseball teams for two seasons.
