David Daniels
Chief Operating Officer
David Daniels joined the Worcester Sharks as their Vice President of Sales and Marketing on February 9, 2006. One year later, Daniels was promoted to Chief Operating Officer of the Sharks Organization and will assume control of the day-to-day operation of the team.
Prior to joining the Sharks, Daniels served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Adelphia Communications. While there, he oversaw all facets of consumer sales and marketing for the Northeast region of the 5.4 billion dollar telecommunications giant and was responsible for consumer launches of Advanced Video Products including OnDemand, HD, and DVR.
From 2001-03, Daniels was the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for InSight Telecommunications, privately owned telecommunications services company. With InSight Telecommunications, he developed all service pricing and packaging options, including several new product launches, and managed national sales and operations teams, who were responsible for the distribution of content transmission services and solutions.
Daniels spent six years working for the Walt Disney Company, ultimately working up the position of Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. He was responsible for the national distribution of Disney networks and successfully launched two cable television networks. He managed all U.S. regional offices and his duties included national account management, strategic planning, and field product branding.
He also spent several years with the New England Sports Network as the Sales and Marketing Manager. While there, he developed a multi-state territory generating over $12 million in revenue for the regional sports network. He also developed and executed pricing strategies, consumer acquisition campaigns, and promotions.
Daniels earned a Bachelors degree in Political Science from Stonehill College in North Easton, MA. He currently resides in North Easton with his wife.
