Abbey Thelin
Marketing Manager
Abbey Thelin enters her third season with the Worcester Sharks as Marketing Manager where she will oversee all creative aspects of print media including flyer, brochure, and schedule design. She manages game day promotions and production while working closely with the San Jose Sharks on all giveaways. She supports the corporate partnership department with corporate summaries and works closely with advertising agencies. Thelin supervises the customer service program, which she revamped a couple years ago and runs the internship program as well.
Prior to coming on board with the Sharks, the Cape Elizabeth, Maine native spent three years working for the Denver Broncos (NFL) and Denver Outlaws (MLL) at INVESCO Field at Mile High Stadium. Thelin was responsible for all graphics and production needs. In addition to working for the Broncos and Outlaws, she was also employed as an In-Game Entertainment Assistant for the Colorado Rockies (MLB) for four months.
Thelin, now an avid hockey fan, played softball and soccer in high school.
She earned her undergraduate degree in history and English from the University of Delaware and her Master’s degree in Sports Management from the University of Denver. She currently resides in Worcester.
