Sharks Add Thelin to Front Office Staff

altWORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced today that the club has hired Abbey Thelin as Marketing Manager.

Thelin joins the Sharks staff after spending three years working for the Denver Broncos (NFL) and Denver Outlaws (MLL) at INVESCO Field at Mile High Stadium. Thelin was responsible for all graphics and production needs in the control room which operates the scoreboard. In addition to working for the Broncos and Outlaws, she was also employed as an In-Game Entertainment Assistant for the Colorado Rockies (MLB) for four months.

The 28-year old Cape Elizabeth, Maine native earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Delaware in History and English. Thelin also has a Masters degree in Sport Management from the University of Denver.

“Abbey has a wealth of experience in game operations and in-game entertainment that will allow the Worcester Sharks to continue their quest at providing the best family entertainment in the league,” said Lehr. “We are excited to have her join the Sharks family as we prepare for our second season in Worcester.”

Thelin currently resides in Worcester, Massachusetts.
