Final Prospect Report for the 2006-07 Season

Jamie McGinn led all Sharks prospects this year with 89 points in 68 regular season games for the Ottawa 67's of the OHL, while Devin Setoguchi dominated in the playoffs, scoring 21 points in 15 games for Prince George of the WHL.
In addition to leading all Sharks prospects, McGinn was selected as a 2006-07 Third Team OHL All-Star.
McGinn also represented the Eastern Conference All-Stars at this year’s All-Star Classic. The 19-year-old native of Fergus, Ontario was a 3rd round selection of the Ottawa 67’s in the 2004 OHL Priority Selection and was selected to the San Jose Sharks in the 2nd round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
Following this season in the OHL, McGinn joined the Worcester Sharks at the end of their regular season and playoffs. In four regular season games, the 18-year old forward recorded one goal and one assist for two points. McGinn skated in six playoff games but did not register a point.
