Dear Shark Fans,

 

Sunday marked the end of the First Season in a new era of the AHL in Worcester. Where did the time go? Wasn’t it just yesterday we announced the Sharks were coming to Central Mass? Wasn’t it just yesterday that we opened the season to a packed house at the DCU Center? It sure seems like it to me. The great thing is Wednesday this new team will begin the next phase in its young existence – the Calder Cup Playoffs. 

 

On behalf of our players, coaches, staff and ownership we want to THANK YOU for your support during this first season. You, the fans, truly give us a home ice advantage and we feel it. You have welcomed us to our new home with open arms and in turn we have tried to perform our best for you on and off the ice. This is just the beginning, as I have been known to say “it is a marathon not a sprint.” We strive to be the best AHL franchise on the ice, in our business, and in this fine community. 

 

The playoffs begin this week and our first home game will be Saturday, April 21. Tickets are on sale right now at the DCU Center box office or by calling our offices at 508.929.0500. Join us on the next leg of this exciting journey and thank you for your support!
