Sharks host Job Fair on March 16

Worcester Sharks host 2nd annual Job Fair on March 16 at DCU Center
Over 75 Employers will join the Worcester Sharks to help Central Mass Jobseekers
 
WORCESTER, MA– Worcester Sharks President Michael A. Mudd along with The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development has announced today that the Workforce Central Career Center of Worcester, Milford, and Southbridge will partner with the Worcester Sharks on Friday, March 16, 2012 to host the 2nd annual job fair before the Sharks host the Providence Bruins at the DCU Center on Heroes Night.
 
Employers from across the Commonwealth will gather at Worcester’s DCU Center from 1p.m. – 5p.m. to meet with hundreds of job seekers looking for their next career opportunity. Admission to the job fair is FREE and job seekers from across the Commonwealth are welcome. The fair will feature employers from across the Commonwealth with over 2,000 job opportunities in healthcare, bioresearch, education, software engineering, manufacturing, construction, retail, and more.
 
“The Sharks welcomed over 1,500 job seekers at the job fair last season,” said Mudd. “We have tripled the amount of businesses attending this year and expect another large turnout at the DCU Center on the 16th.”
 
As an added bonus, all job fair attendees will be offered A BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE TICKET OFFER for the Sharks game that evening versus the Providence Bruins at 7:30p.m on Heroes Night as the Sharks host a benefit for the Jon Davies Children’s Fund. Join us for a Guns’ N Hoses game between the Worcester Police and Fire Departments vs. the Connecticut Fire Department at 5p.m. The Sharks will honor local heroes throughout the game and a class of U.S. Army recruits will be sworn in on the ice after the game.
