![]() Hey Sharks Fans,
Cory Quirk checking in from Brockton!
I hope everyone is having a great summer. After the playoffs were finished in Worcester, I took a couple weeks off to get my body ready to go for this upcoming season. I was able to travel to Atlantic City for a week to vacation and unwind. This summer I am working out Monday-Friday for two hours a day at Parmys, which is run by Scott Parmentier in Avon, MA. I have trained with him for awhile now, and it is always a grueling day of training, that has helped me out tremendously. I have also been skating twice a week, and once August comes along I will increase, till training camp starts up.
My first professional season was a great success. I learned a lot this year from the coaches, as well as other players on the team. It took a little time to get adjusted to the long schedule compared to college, but feel as though I did a fine job.
The fans have been great, and I am looking forward to another great season. Hope to see you all at the DCU Center for the opening game.
