Logan Couture named #1!

Center Logan Couture of the Worcester Sharks was named as the No. 1 player in minor league hockey by the editors of MLN Sports in the MLN FAB50 Hockey 2010 rankings, appearing in the current issue of SZ the digital magazine of minor league and alternative professional sports news celebrating its 11th year and the 8th of the FAB50 Hockey rankings.
The San Jose Sharks were awarded the 2010 MLN Hockey Farm System of the Year for the best batch of fast-track prospects in professional minor league hockey.
Alex Stalock, Nick Petrecki, Jamie McGinn, and Benn Ferriero were all named to the Top 50 list!
Top five players named to the rankings include four other top players from the American Hockey League (AHL): No. 2 center Tyler Ennis of the Portland Pirates (Sabres), No. 3 defenseman John Carlson of the Hershey Bears (Capitals), No. 4 center Lars Eller or the Peoria Rivermen (Blues), and No. 5 center Zach Boychuk of the Albany River Rats (Hurricanes).
