This week highlight veteran defenseman Patrick Traverse, who had his best professional offensive season in 15 years leading all Worcester Sharks defensemen with 42 points.

Did you know?: Patrick has suited up for five different NHL clubs over his 15 years playing professional hockey. Traverse has played for Ottawa, Anaheim, Boston, Montreal, and Dallas.
Interesting Tidbits: recorded 14 goals from the blue line in 71 games with the Hershey Bears in 1997-98. Traverse also played in 24 games for the Worcester Ice Cats in 1996-97.
2008-09 in a Nutshell: Traverse finished 11th in the AHL defenseman scoring race with 43 points (9-34-43) and was 4th overall in points among Sharks players.
