Season Highlight: Had 11 penalty minutes in professional debut on Apr. 11, but followed that with a spirited fight (first of career) against Brad Mills the following night.
Did you know?: Moore was a mechanical and aerospace engineering major at Princeton.
2007-08 in a Nutshell: Moore was the last rookie to sign with the Sharks, seeing action in the final weekend of the season (three games). In a short sample, he showed he could compete in the AHL, not backing down when a chance to drop the gloves arose. He should team up with Frazer McLaren, David MacDonald, and others to form an exhilarating group of young players in 2008-09.

2007-08 with Worcester: Final Stats – 3 games played, 0 points (0 goals, 0 assists), 16 penalty minutes, E rating … Had first professional fight (Mills) in the first period on 4/12 vs. Lowell … Made his professional debut on 4/11 at Portland, picking up 11 penalty minutes in the process … Signed to an ATO on 4/10.
2007-08 Moore, who recently completed his senior season, served as the team captain of Princeton’s first ECAC Championship winning team in 10 years. He also helped lead the Tigers to the Ivy League Championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance. He was the 2008 ECAC Hockey Defensive Defenseman of the Year and led Princeton defensemen in goals (seven), assists (17) and points (24) in 34 games. The six-foot-one, 200-pound native of Calgary, Alberta, finished his Princeton career with 52 points (14 goals, 38 assists) and 154 penalty minutes in 121 games.
