This week, we begin with assistant captain Brennan Evans, who anchored the defensive unit while finishing second on the team (to Brad Staubitz) with 18 fighting majors!

Season Highlight: Scored only goal of the season in a crucial situation, cutting Hartford’s lead to 2-1 late in the second period on Mar. 28. To make things more memorable, he also had (one of many) bouts with Hugh Jessiman in the first period.
Did you know?: His first NHL game was for the Calgary Flames in the 2004 STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS!
2007-08 in a Nutshell: Evans continued to show his leadership as a veteran blue line presence, finishing as one of only two Sharks (Derek Joslin) to play in all 80 games. He also tallied 13 assists while cracking the 200 penalty minute plateau for the second time in his career.
