WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced today that the club has hired Joseph M. Fellini as the Director of Ticket Sales. 

 

Fellini, a Norwood, Massachusetts native with an extensive hockey background and sales experience at the professional sports level, joins the Sharks staff after two years as the Regional Group Sales Representative for the Tampa Bay Rays (MLB).  Joseph has also been employed by the Central Florida Sports Commission as the Marketing Manager; the Orlando Seals (SPHL) as Director of Sales and later General Manager; the Tupelo T-Rex (WPHL) as Director of Sales, and has also worked for the Orlando Solar Bears (IHL), the Memphis RiverKings (CHL), and the South Carolina Fire Ants (MLRH) in various capacities.

 

The 45-year old attended Dean College and grew up a hockey goaltender and a huge Gerry Cheevers fan.  “I am extremely excited to come back home to a great franchise like the Worcester Sharks which has great growth potential in its third season,” said Fellini.  “Hockey is my passion and I can not wait till the Sharks drop the puck for this All-Star season.”

Fellini currently resides in Norwood, Massachusetts but plans to move to the Worcester area.
