Gerry (Rhode Island): Why do you wear # 13? Does it have any special meaning?
T.J. Fox: When I went into college, I wore number eight, but one of our captains wanted to wear 8 his senior year, so 13 was one of the only few open. I took it and ran with it. It's been good to me so far.
Jackie D (south hadley, MA): what's your favorite thing to do besides hockey?
T.J. Fox: I just bought a Playstation 3 at Christmas time. I play Call of Duty 4 online against people around the world. It's pretty intense, so I enjoy that.
Jonny (Amherst): what advice would you give to young players who want to reach your level?
T.J. Fox: I've had my ups and downs in my career reaching this level. One thing I never did was give up. I just played as hard as I could at every level. I eventually got my opportunity coming out of college early to play at this level. If you work hard and never quit, your opportunity will come one day.
Nikki (your #1 fan/sister!) (Rochester, NY): Hey T! Awesome season so far! What are your plans for the off-season? If you'll be in Oswego for a bit would you be a cool uncle and take Ethan skating? I'll talk to you later! Nik
T.J. Fox: As of right now, my plans are to come home for the summer. I have a few options I'm looking at with different trainers around the area. I'll be a real good uncle and take Ethan skating as many times as he wants!
Bobby (Left Wing): Who is the hardest worker on the squad? Among the players, who is the guy that shows up to work every day? I know you all work hard, but who is the model?
T.J. Fox: We all work hard day in and day out every game. The most consistent player is Tom Cavanagh; we know what we're going to get every game out of him. He's a good role model with his work ethic.
ANTON PORCARI (New York): How many years did you play hockey in Oswego and when did you leave to play with another team and why?
T.J. Fox: Hey cuz! I played up until my pee wee year in Oswego and then I left the organiztion to play in Syracuse which was an A organization. I left because this was a chance to better myself as a hockey player at a higher level. Keep playing hard! I'll go skating with you when I get home.
Katerina Porcari (new york): How old were you when you started working out? die that have a big play in your success?
T.J. Fox: Hey Katerina, I started working out my freshman year in high school. That has played a big role in my success because now I am stronger and more suited to play at this level.
NICHOLAS GENTILE (Rochester): What are your future plans for the team...and have you given yourself a time line to go up to the San Jose Sharks? I see you have played wing is this a position you prefer to play?
T.J. Fox: Hey Nick, I'm going to continue to play my best day in and day out and I have not given myself a timeline to get called up. If I keep working hard and playing consistent, hopefully my day will come soon. Either wing or center, I'll play whatever's best to help out the team.
Molly (Shrewsbury): Now that you're rookie year is coming to an end, what is the one thing you're going to take away from the experience?
T.J. Fox: This was quite an experience compared to the college level I played last year. I had some great players on our team that helped me adjust to this level throughout the year.
Lauren (Holden): What is your favorite memory from this year?
T.J. Fox: I would say my first game in Albany where I had a lot of family members make the trip including my nephew who saw me play my first professional game. And I scored in that game which was an added bonus.
John (Worcester): Do you plan on staying in Worcester this summer or are you going back to Oswego?
T.J. Fox: As of right now, I'm going home, but my plans are not set for the summer.
Kiren (Westborough): Driving range or putt putt??
T.J. Fox: Driving range. Big boy clubs.
Nancy (Boston): Since you're from New York... Yankees, Mets or Red Sox?
T.J. Fox: Red Sox. I've been a Boston sports fan since I was young.
Ken (Worcester): Great season TJ! Where do you see yourself five years from now?
T.J. Fox: Five years from now, I would like to be playing in the NHL and having a successful career.
Bob (Worcester): where do you spend the off season and what do you do?
T.J. Fox: Last offseason, I was in Oswego, NY where I trained at our local gym all summer. I usually skate two to three times a week, preparing for the upcoming season.
Donald (Worcester): Looking back on this season, what were some of the highlights for you?
T.J. Fox: Scoring my first professional goal against Providence. It was the game-winner, which made it more memorable. Also, my first professional fight, which was a line brawl against Providence as well.
