Unum Challenge
Pirates vs. Sharks for the Good of our Communities

The 4th annual Unum Challenge between the Portland Pirates and the Worcester Sharks will take place over the 10 game AHL 2009-20010 regular season series. The team that wins the series will be awarded the Unum Cup. As part of the challenge funds will be raised for charity in each community.

At each game in each city, one lucky fan will be chosen from those who have entered as the Unum Challenge Fan of the Game. The winning fan will win a replica jersey and five (5) tickets to a future game. Only one entry will be accepted per fan. YOU MUST BE 18 TO ENTER! Enter at the fan assistance table on the concourse outside section 121.

From November 5 through December 21st (during the first 5 games of the series), fans have the opportunity to guess how many total shots will be taken throughout the 10 games of the Worcester-Portland series. One fan from either city who guessed the correct goal total will be randomly chosen as the Grand Prize winner. S/he will be invited to the final regular season home game where the Unum Cup will be presented to the winning team during the post-game award ceremony. The Grand Prize winner will have the opportunity to participate in the presentation of the Cup to the winning team, and will also be awarded a prize from Unum!
