BALD IS BEAUTIFUL NIGHT SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 6
WORCESTER - The Worcester Sharks have announced that forward Riley Armstrong will shave his head on ice following the team’s April 6 game vs. Springfield as part of BALD IS BEATIFUL NIGHT sponsored by Jeffrey Robert Salon of Worcester. Armstrong has been growing out his hair to raise awareness for Locks of Love.
Fans will have the opportunity to bid for the privilege to cut Riley’s hair with all proceeds benefiting Locks of Love. The silent auction will take place at the fan assistance table on April 4. The highest bidder will get to cut Armstrong’s hair at center ice on April 6 with assistance from Jeffrey Robert Salon.
Get to the game early as there will be several large trucks on the plaza in front of the DCU Center for families to explore as part of "Truck Day"!!!!
Along with the auction, fans can also take part by signing up to cut their hair. For more information, please click here. Click here for more information about Locks of Love.
The Sharks know that Bald is Beautiful, so they are offering FREE tickets to all bald fans with the purchase of another adult ticket. It is sure to be an important game too with division rival Springfield in town for the Sunday 4:05 p.m. start time!
Worcester travels to Lowell on Friday and Springfield on Saturday before returning home to host the Hartford Wolf Pack Sunday at 4:05 p.m. The Sharks will be sporting special St. Patrick’s Day jerseys that will then be auctioned off for charity.
