WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced today the details of “Dinner with a Shark” in partnership with the Worcester Restaurant Group. The winner of the contest will have the opportunity to dine with a Sharks player at one of Worcester’s famed dining spots such as The Sole Proprietor, the 111 Chop House, or VIA – Italian Table.

Fans are encouraged to sign up at Sharksahl.com, the Sole Proprietor located on Highland St., the 111 Chop House located on Shrewsbury St., or VIA – Italian Table also located on Shrewsbury St. All three participating restaurants will have a bowl at the entrance where business cards or “enter to win tickets” can be filled out for a chance to win “Dinner with a Shark.”

The winner of the contest will have the opportunity to choose between the three restaurants listed above.

VIA – Italian Table is a brand new restaurant located at 89 Shrewsbury St. in Worcester. VIA is set to open very soon and will serve “Italian Comfort Food.” At VIA, you'll find Italian favorites such as Italian paella, Sicilian meatloaf, swordfish Milanese and gnocchi pie, which are the kinds of food you would find in Italy. You will also find an assortment of familiar foods, such as grilled pizzas and sandwiches made with fresh ingredients imported from Italy.
