Auction begins June 1 at 8pm (EST) and concludes June 8 at 8p.m. (EST)
 
Worcester, MA – The Worcester Sharks (@WorcesterSharks), proud American Hockey League affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) announced today that the club will auction off several game worn jerseys during an online auction on www.SharksAHL.com beginning on Sunday, June 1 at 8p.m. (EST).

The jersey auction contains many of your favorite past and present Worcester Sharks players including Bracken Kearns, Matt Irwin, Matt Nieto and Brodie Reid. The online jersey auction begins on Sunday, June 1 at 8p.m. (EST) and concludes on Sunday, June 8 at 8p.m. (EST) and will consist of the following jerseys;
 
Bracken Kearns– game worn #16 teal Worcester Sharks jersey size 56 from Sharks veteran forward and assistant captain Bracken Kearns. Bracken scored his first NHL goal this season for San Jose and accumulated five points (3-2-5) in 25 games for San Jose while adding 25 points (6-19-25) in 45 games in Worcester. Mirco Mueller – game worn #41 white Worcester Sharks jersey size 58+ from Sharks rookie defenseman Mirco Mueller. Mirco made his professional debut late in the season for Worcester and posted two points (0-2-2) in nine games. Mueller was drafted by the San Jose Sharks with the 18th overall pick in 2013 and has played two seasons with Everett (WHL). Matt Tennyson – game worn #5 teal Worcester Sharks jersey size 58 from Sharks defenseman and Western Michigan Univ. alum Matt Tennyson. Matt became the 1st member of the San Jose Jr. Sharks to suit up for the San Jose Sharks as he played four games in 2012-13 in the NHL. Matt Nieto – game worn #17 white Worcester Sharks jersey size 56 from Sharks forward and BU alum Matt Nieto. Matt was the San Jose Sharks co-rookie of the year and recorded five points (2-3-5) in two games in Worcester. The Long Beach, CA native was drafted in the 2nd round by the Sharks in 2011 and played three seasons at Boston University. Click HERE to place a bid!
 
Brodie Reid– game worn #15 white Worcester Sharks jersey size 56 from Sharks forward Brodie Reid. Brodie ranked 5th in Worcester with 25 points (11-14-25) in 55 games this past season. Reid has played in 155 games in Worcester over the last three seasons (31-40-71). Click HERE to place a bid!
 
Nick Petrecki– game worn #29 teal Worcester Sharks jersey size 58+ from Sharks defenseman Nick Petrecki.  Nick recorded three points (1-2-3) in 35 games for Worcester before getting reassigned to Rochester (AHL) at the AHL trade deadline. Petrecki is the Worcester Sharks all-time leader in games played (277) and 2nd with 531 penalty minutes. He was drafted by San Jose with the 28th pick in 2007. Rob Davison – game worn #3 white Worcester Sharks jersey size 58 from Sharks defenseman and captain Rob Davison. Davison recorded nine points (3-6-9) and 113 penalty minutes in 65 games this season for Worcester. The 14 year veteran was originally drafted by San Jose in 1998 and has suited up in 219 NHL games with San Jose, New York Islanders, Vancouver, and New Jersey. Eriah Hayes– game worn #18 white Worcester Sharks jersey size 58 from Sharks rookie forward Eriah Hayes. Eriah recorded 21 points (12-9-21) in 59 games in Worcester while adding 162 shots on goal. Hayes also made his NHL debut this season suiting up in 15 games for San Jose and scored his 1st NHL goal. Lane Scheidl – game worn #11 white Worcester Sharks jersey size 56 from Sharks rookie forward Lane Scheidl. Lane recorded five points (2-3-5) in 23 games in Worcester and also saw time with the Ontario Reign (ECHL). Riley Brace – game worn #28 teal Worcester Sharks jersey size 54 from former Sharks rookie forward Riley Brace. Riley played on four teams in 2013-14 season which included Worcester, San Francisco (ECHL), Ontario (ECHL), and Iowa (AHL). Brace also played five seasons with Mississauga (OHL) before turning pro with Worcester. Marek Viedensky– game worn #25 white Worcester Sharks jersey size 58 from Sharks center Marek Viedensky. Marek recorded a career high 23 points (6-17-23) in 54 games this season in Worcester and also suited up for Team Slovakia in the World Championships in Belarus. Thomas Heemskerk– game worn (back up goalie) #34 white Worcester Sharks jersey size 58G from former Sharks goaltender Thomas Heemskerk. Thomas served as a back-up goaltender for Worcester this season but played 31 games for the Quad City Mallards (CHL) and posted a 15-9-5 record. Adam Comrie – game worn #44 white Worcester Sharks jersey size 58 from Sharks defenseman Adam Comrie. Adam recorded 19 points (3-16-19) in 56 games with Worcester this season. Comrie was originally drafted by Florida in 2008 and has also played for Rochester (AHL), Cincinnati (ECHL), Greenville (ECHL), and Reading (ECHL). Matt Irwin – game worn #20 black Worcester Sharks jersey from the 2010-11 season size 56 from Sharks defenseman and U-Mass Amherst alum Matt Irwin. Irwin spent the entire 2013-14 season in the NHL with San Jose where he recorded 20 points (2-18-20) in 62 games. Irwin recorded 31 points (10-21-31) in 72 games in 2010-11 for the Worcester Sharks.
