Sharks at Monarchs at 3pm

The Worcester Sharks will try to ruin a potential playoff spot for the Manchester Monarchs today 3pm at the Verizon Wireless Arena.

Worcester is 5-5-1-0 against Manchester this season as the two teams wrap up their 12 game season series this afternoon. The Sharks have won just one game in their last 11 (1-7-3-0) and were eliminated from a playoff spot after a 4-3 overtime loss last night to the Norfolk Admirals. The Monarchs have won three straight games and are four points behind the 8th place CT Whale for the final playoff spot in the East.

Riley Brace is rocking a four game point streak for Worcester (3-3-6) and Eriah Hayes is coming of a ten shot performance, which included his first professional goal last night.

Goaltender Martin Jones has made 10 straight starts for the Monarchs and is 5-1-1 with a 1.68GAA and a .946 save % against the Sharks this season.
