MSHCA All Stars shine at the DCU Center in Worcester presented by Shriners

The Worcester Sharks and the DCU Center hosted the 4th annual Massachusetts State Coaches Hockey Association Boy’s All Star Classic and the 1st Annual Massachusetts State Hockey Coaches Association Girl’s All Star Classic on Saturday afternoon prior to the Sharks game verse the St. John IceCaps. Each game featured the top 46 senior boys and girls in the state.
In the girl’s game, Team North defeated the Team South by a score of 4-2. North’s forward Alison Butler (St. Mary’s HS) led their offense by scoring two goals including the game winner on route to winning the Game’s Most Valuable Player. Kimberly Lizotte (Westford Academy) and Sara Lehman (Lexington HS) each tallied a goal with Jackie Denning (Lexington HS) picking up two assists for the victorious North Team. South’s Hannah Murphy (Duxbury HS) and Alexa Scribner (Falmouth HS) each potted a goal for their team, who outshot the North 26 to 24 despite dropping the game 4-2.
Team South skated to a ¬¬¬9-2 win over the Team North in the 4th annual Boy’s MSHCA All-Star Classic. The game’s most valuable player was Max Wilman (Barnstable HS) as he collected four points (2 goals and 2 assists) in South’s victory. Eddie Pratt (Xaverian Brothers HS), Matt Krusta (Natick HS), Liam Coughlin (Catholic Memorial HS), and Jack Kilty (Medway HS) all had multi-point games in the victory for the South. Thomas Bishop and Andrew Dawson (both of Chelmsford HS) registered multi-points for Team North as they were outshot 35 to 12 in the game.
