Worcester Sharks Weekend
November 28, 2006
After a three game road trip, the Sharks return home at the DCU Center on Friday, December 8 at 7:00 p.m. for a tilt against the Hartford Wolf Pack. The Sharks are partnering with Baystate Financial Services to hold a coat drive benefiting Mass DSS Kids Fund. It’s cold out and there are some people out there who don’t have coats, so help out and donate a warm jacket to those who are in need. When you donate that coat, you’ll get a free ticket to the Sharks home game on December 26th when Hartford comes back to town!
The Sharks also welcome “City of Worcester” employees.
The game will be the Sharks first locally televised game live on Charter’s WCTR-3! Paint your face or even your body and come support your Worcester Sharks! Who knows, maybe you’ll get on camera!
As usual, every Friday night is College Night, so come down and support your school in the on-ice keg roll relay race. Take a break from finals, bring your college ID and get in for $8.
Saturday night is Teddy Bear Toss night. Come to the game, bring a Teddy Bear, and when it’s time – huck it onto the ice to provide some little boy or girl with a gift during this happy holiday season. The Teddy Bear Toss will benefit Project Smile.
It’s also “Holiday Sing with the Sharks” where choir students will be attending the game to sing Holiday songs during the intermissions. There will be carolers in the concourse and Lobby.
Don’t forget, it’s another Saturday Night Signing. After the game, two Sharks players will be in the Box Office Lobby signing autographs for our fans following the end of the game. Come get an autograph from tomorrow’s NHL Stars!
