Sharks Recall Defenseman Tom Walsh from Fresno Falcons

Worcester, Mass. - Worcester Sharks General Manager Wayne Thomas announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Tom Walsh from their ECHL affiliate, the Fresno Falcons.

Walsh appeared in three games with Worcester and recorded one assist before he signed an American Hockey League contract and was reassigned to Fresno.

While playing in Fresno, Walsh played in 15 games for the Falcons and recorded five points (1+4=5) in that span. The 23-year old Arlington, Massachusetts native scored his only goal on the power play and owned a plus-two player rating.

The Sharks are on the road for three games next weekend facing the Norfolk Admirals on Friday and Saturday at 7:15 p.m. both nights and the Hershey Bears on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Tune in to Newstalk 580 WTAG to listen to your Worcester Sharks.
