SHARKS RECALL FORWARDS FRAZER McLAREN AND JAMIE McGINN, AND DEFENSEMAN JASON DEMERS FROM WORCESTER

SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled forwards Frazer McLaren and Jamie McGinn, and defenseman Jason Demers from the Worcester Sharks, the team’s top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.
McLaren has played in 16 games with San Jose, posting three points (one goal, two assists), a plus-four rating and 44 penalty minutes.
The six-foot-four, 235 pound Winnipeg, Manitoba native was originally selected by San Jose in the seventh round (203rd overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
McGinn has appeared in 28 games with the Sharks, notching five goals and 14 penalty minutes.
The six-foot, 185-pound native of Fergus, Ontario native was originally selected by San Jose in the second round (36th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
Demers has played in 27 games for San Jose, posting 13 points (one goal, 12 assists) and 10 penalty minutes.
The six-foot-one, 185-pound native of Dorval, Quebec was originally selected by San Jose in the seventh round (186th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
In a related move, the Sharks reassigned defenseman Derek Joslin to the Worcester Sharks.
Joslin has played in 20 games for San Jose, posting 3 assists and 12 penalty minutes.
The six-foot-one, 210-pound native of Richmond, Ontario was originally selected by San Jose in the fifth round (149th overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
