This weekend the Sharks will hit the road Friday and Saturday night and look for revenge for their last two losses at the hands of the Providence Bruins and Portland Pirates. The weekend is capped off back at the DCU Center on Sunday afternoon for a game with the Norfolk Admirals.

On Friday night, November 20th at 7:00pm the Sharks head up to Portland to take on the Pirates and seek revenge from their Wednesday night loss at the DCU Center 5-3. Portland has been struggling so far this season in the Atlantic Division currently sitting in seventh place, but Mark Mancari and Tyler Ennis have been bright spots for them. Mancari leads all scorers with eighteen points (9-9-18) while Ennis is second with seventeen points (7-10-17). Jhonas Enroth and Jean-Phillippe Lamoureux have split time in between the pipes for the Pirates. The Pirates are coached by Kevin Dineen and are an affiliate of the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres.

The Sharks then travel south to Rhode Island on Saturday night to take on the Providence Bruins at the Dunkin Donuts Center at 7:00pm. The Sharks suffered a loss at the hands of the Bruins this past Sunday afternoon at the DCU Center by a score of 5-3. The Sharks will look to take the lead in the season series, as it is currently tied 1-1. Defenseman Andy Wozniewski leads all players with 19 points (4-15-19) which puts him tied for first place in points among AHL defenseman. Danny Sabourin has logged most of the minutes in net for the Bruins and has recorded seven wins, which puts him in the top ten among AHL goaltenders. The Bruins are coached by Rob Murray and are an affiliate of the NHL’s Boston Bruins.

The Sharks will end the weekend home at the DCU Center on Sunday afternoon at 3:05pm against cross division rival Norfolk Admirals. The Admirals currently sit in second place in the East Division behind only the Hershey Bears. The Admirals have been tough to beat on the road this season, and are unbeaten in their last three games. They are led up front by Brandon Bochenski who has tallied eleven goals (11-7-18) this season making him the league leader in that category. Dustin Tokarski leads the goaltending crew as he has appeared in eleven games this season posting a 2.56 goals against average. The Admirals are coached by Darren Rumble and are an affiliate of the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning.
