Worcester Sharks add experience to sales team
11-year-veteran, Eric B. Horn named Corporate Sales Manager
WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced the hire of three new employees to bolster the front office in preparation of the Sharks fourth season in Worcester.
With over 11 years of sales experience in the sports industry, Eric B. Horn was named Corporate Sales Manager. The hockey dad and native of central Massachusetts is the former General Manager of Business Operations for the Danbury Mad Hatters of the Eastern Professional Hockey League. He has also served as the Director of Sales for the Buick Championship PGA Tour Event in Hartford. Horn is no stranger to the AHL, as he was previously employed for seven years with the Hartford Wolf Pack as the Corporate and Group Sales Account Manager. Eric is a graduate of Northeastern University.
Kristen Mansur was named Ticket Operations Coordinator/Account Executive. The Auburn, MA native and graduate of Johnson & Wales University, joins the Sharks after spending the last four years working in the MLS, most recently finishing a stint as the Box Office Manager for the Houston Dynamo. Kristen was also the Ticket Operation Assistant for the Worcester Ice Cats for one season.
Former Sharks intern, Jonathan Forsberg was named an Account Executive. The West Boylston, MA native and graduate of Springfield College impressed the Sharks office as a marketing intern with his tremendous work ethic and energy. He was previously an intern with the Boston Celtics.
"The Sharks are fortunate to be adding three really good people with tremendous experience to our sales staff," said Lehr. "I expect nothing but great things from all three and I think our fans will enjoy getting to know the newest members of our office.”
