Hey Sharks Fans!
Derek Joslin here checking in from Richmond Hill, Ontario Canada.
The off-season has treated me pretty well so far. As soon as I got home I purchased a new set of golf clubs and have been golfing as much as I can lately. Jamie McGinn doesn't live too far from me so we usually hook up for a golf game once a week or so. I was in Ottawa a few weeks ago for a golf tournament where my team finished second. It was great to be back in Ottawa to see some old friends and teammates from when I used to play there for the Ottawa 67s in the OHL.
I haven't been doing much since I've been back home, just been catching up with old friends and family and started training full time again. It’s nice to get back into summer training mode, I'm already getting excited for next season. I didn't get away this year to somewhere tropical like I did at the end of last season, but a few of my friends and I are trying to plan a weekend trip to Las Vegas sometime this summer.
