Sharks Street Brigade FUN on Sharks TV
July 8, 2009
Sharks TV tagged along with the Worcester Sharks Street Brigade at the Flagg Street School in Worcester for an afternoon of hockey fun!
Children in grades 1-5 had the opportunity to participate in a street hockey game complete with boards and real hockey nets. Everyone had a blast!
FINZ hung out with all the spectators and signed autographs on his own hockey card!

The Sharks Street Brigade is brought to you by Fallon Clinic and is part of the Sharks Summer Days presented by Irving Oil.
To find out how you can have the Sharks Street Brigade at your next event please contact the Sharks Director of Youth Hockey and Community Relations Michael Myers at 508-929-0500 or by email at mmyers@sharksahl.com.
The Sharks Street Brigadeis an interactive, mobile street hockey experience geared toward elementary school-aged children in order to generate an interest in hockey and make it more accessible to local youth.
Children can enjoy the mobile rink which consists of one-foot-high light foam boards and allows them to play street hockey in a designated area like a parking lot, blacktop or gymnasium floor free of charge. All that is needed to participate is sneakers and a positive attitude; the Sharks will provide nets, sticks, balls and necessary equipment for goalies.
The Sharks Street Brigade staff will provide professional basic instruction and conduct drills and short scrimmages, or simply provide an hour of fun for anyone involved. The scrimmages will be refereed by everyone’s favorite mascot, FINZ!!
