2ND ROUND OF WORCESTER SHARKS JERSEYS TO BE AUCTIONED OFF ON SHARKSAHL.COM
WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced that the Worcester Sharks will auction off the game worn and issued Worcester Sharks jerseys from the 2008-09 season during an online auction on www.SharksAHL.com.
The auction will start on Sunday, June 21st at 6 p.m. (EST) and conclude on Sunday, June 28th at 6 p.m. (EST) and will be the second of two online auctions on SharksAHL.com.

The Sharks sported the game worn jerseys throughout the second half of the 2008-09 season and consist some of the most popular players ever to suit up for the Worcester Sharks; including four time Stanley Cup Champion Claude Lemieux, NHL veteran defenseman Kyle McLaren, and goaltender Thomas Greiss. Sharks fans will have the opportunity to bid on the following jerseys on www.SharksAHL.com beginning June 21st at 6 p.m:
The following jerseys are game worn from the 2008-09 season:
Patrick Traverse: gray jersey – led all Sharks defenseman with 42 points.
Kyle McLaren: white jersey – a veteran of 719 NHL games, made his AHL debut this season dressing in 22 games with Worcester.
Jason Demers: gray jersey - led all Sharks with a +15 in his rookie season
Brad Staubitz: 2007-08 white jersey – made his NHL debut this season playing in 35 games. Had 10 fights in 38 games with Worcester.
Brendan Buckley: white jersey – veteran defenseman recorded nine points and 92 penalty minutes in his first season with Sharks
Mike Moore: gray jersey – voted Sharks “Rookie of the Year” and was one of the best open ice hitters in the AHL.
Tom Cavanagh: black jersey – scored first NHL goal this season while adding 15 goals in just 51 games in Worcester.
P.J Fenton: white jersey - San Jose Sharks 2005 draft pick, recorded 15 points in 52 games his rookie season in Worcester.
Frazer McLaren: gray jersey - set a franchise record with 21 fighting majors this, his rookie season with Worcester,
Trent Campbell: white jersey - captured the Kelly Cup with the South Carolina Sting Rays and scored 7 points in 16 games with Worcester.
Ryan Vesce: gray Jersey – Sharks team captain, MVP, and All-Star. Finished 13th in the AHL scoring race with 71 points.
Cory Larose: black jersey – scored 19 goals in 53 games with Worcester this season.
Riley Armstrong: black jersey – led all Sharks with 25 goals and made his NHL debut this season.
Lukas Kaspar: white jersey – ranked 2nd in Worcester with 44 points while adding his first two NHL tallies in 13 games in San Jose.
Dan DaSilva: white jersey: had 13 points in 26 games with Worcester and had a fantastic playoff season.
Derek Joslin: white jersey – set franchise record with 11 goals as a defenseman. AHL All-Star that also saw his first 12 games in NHL.
Thomas Greiss: gray jersey – set Worcester Sharks record with 30 wins this season.
Claude Lemieux: gray jersey – four-time Stanley Cup Champion and Conn Smyth winner played 23 games in Worcester this season.
Alex Stalock: white jersey – draft pick of San Jose and fan favorite at the Univ. of Minnesota-Duluth.
Logan Couture: white jersey – 9th overall pick by San Jose in 2007 draft and scored two goals in 12 playoff games in Worcester.
Taylor Dakers: black jersey – went 11-9-0 this season in Worcester including the first shutout in Sharks history.
Jamie McGinn: black jersey – led all Worcester rookies with 19 goals in just 47 games. Scored first four NHL goals this season in 35 games.
Devin Setoguchi: 2007-08 game worn white jersey – scored 31 goals this season with San Jose.
All jerseys will include a certificate of authenticity.
