SnapShark of the Week!
May 28, 2009
Each week on SharksAHL.com we will highlight a “SnapShark of the Week” from the 2008-09 season.
This week’s SnapShark was taken at the end of the Sharks 3-0 win over the Providence Bruins on April 11th in front of the largest crowd ever (7,406) to attend a Sharks game at the DCU Center.
Thomas Greiss made 23 saves for his first professional shutout in his 140th AHL start. The shutout was also the first ever at the DCU Center for a Sharks game in 120 regular season games.
In the photo, Sharks players are saluting the capacity crowd for all of their support throughout the 2008-09 season.
Check back next week on SharksAHL.com for the next “SnapShark of the Week.”
