Marina Riva “Star of the Week” at the Hockey Night in Auburn!

 

Worcester Sharks ticket account executive Marina Riva was named the “Star of the Week” for the division one adult novice league in Auburn this past week.

 

Riva recoded two assists to lead the Capitals to a 4-0 win over the Predators on Wednesday night.  Worcester Sharks friend and supporter Ed Kochling also added an assist in the victory.  Marina has led the Capitals to a 6-1-1 start to sit on top of the standings.

 

Marina had 57 goals 57assists in four years at the University of Rhode Island and was the leading scorer her freshman year.  Riva was on the 2003-04 club that lost in the national championship game to Wisconsin. (she swears she hit the post ten times that game).
