Tonight…
The Sharks and the Wolf Pack meet for the 1st time this season, the 1st at the DCU Center. The Sharks were 0-8-0-0 vs. the Wolf Pack last season.  Both teams will be looking for their second win this season. The two Atlantic Division rivals will compete 8 times this season.

In case you missed it…
The Worcester Sharks defeated the Providence Bruins in the Sharks home opener at a sold out DCU Center on Saturday night.  Jamie McGinn scored just: 22 seconds into the first period and Riley Armstrong scored early in the third, but Providence would score two goals late in the game to force overtime.  In the extra frame, Sharks captain Ryan Vesce would deflect a Kyle McLaren blast from the point past Tuuka Rask to propel the Sharks to their first victory of the season.  The Sharks outshot the Bruins 34-20 and Thomas Greiss made 18 saves in net.

The Wolf Pack spent the last weekend in Canada, losing both games to Hamilton and Toronto north of the border.  On Saturday, the Wolf Pack fell 4-1 in Toronto with Mike Oullette scoring the only goal for Hartford.  Matt Zaba made 17 saves in net for Hartford while the Wolf Pack outshot the Marlies 30-21.
