Day 2 of the Worcester Sharks training camp is underway at the Hart Center at the College of the Holy Cross.  The roster was split into two squads for a scrimmage and was open to the public.

Team Grey: Fenton, Fox, Jones, Osman, Esner, Guyer, Bostic, Traverse, Westgarth, Rawlyk, Burke, and VanderVeeken.

Team Black: Clark, Desjardins, Travis, McLaren, Fornataro, Rome, McEwan, Cleaver, Carroll, Vesce, Kinch, Buckley, O'Hanley, Younglause.

The three goaltenders; Daniels, Jones, and McIntyre saw action in net on both teams.

The scrimmage ended in a 2-2 tie.  Wes Clark and James McEwan scored for team black.  P.J. Fenton and Nate Bostic scored goals for team grey. 

Coach Sommer had this to say half way through day 2: "I thought practice was better today as the guys got the first day jitters out of the way.  I thought that Rome played better and I liked the way Fornataro has looked.  Matt Burke has played well on the blue line and P.J. Fento scored a nice goal.  We are coming along."

Day three of training camp will be held at the DCU Center on Wednesday and the Sharks will travel to Conneticut to face the Hartford Wolf Pack.  The following is a list of players that will participate in Wednesday's match-up against Hartford:

Forwards: Rick Cleaver, Dominic Osman, Frazer McLaren, James McEwan, Bryan Esner, Gino Guyer, Andrew Desjardins, Wes Clark, Dan Travis, Jamie Carroll, Ashton Rome, Nate Bostic.

Defense: Jamie VanderVeeken, Rory Rawlyk, Brian O'Hanley, Matt Burke, Phil Youngclaus, Brett Westgarth.

Goaltenders: Derek MacIntyre and Ryan Daniels.
