Kaspar Scores In 5-1 Loss For San Jose

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -Peter Mueller scored three goals and rookie Mikkel Boedker added two goals in the Phoenix Coyotes' 5-1 win over the San Jose Sharks on Monday night.
 
Mueller scored his hat trick entirely in the second period. After wristing a shot past Brian Boucher at 6:19, he converted on Daniel Winnik's centering pass 49 seconds later.
 
After Boedker's first goal, the 20-year-old Mueller got his third at 17:03.
 
Lukas Kasper scored off a centering pass from Jamie McGinn late in the first period for a 1-0 lead.
 
Goalie Ilya Bryzgalov played the first two periods for Phoenix and surrendered one goal on 20 shots before Mikael Tellqvist relieved him and stopped all nine shots. Boucher gave up five goals on 21 shots.
