Would you like to be part of the Worcester Sharks team and have some fun at each home game?  The Sharks are providing the perfect opportunity to do just that in a stimulating and entertaining environment.

 

The Worcester Sharks Crew provides a fun and exciting guest experience at all home Worcester Sharks games. The Sharks Crew is responsible for on-ice intermission games and break promotions in the seating area at the DCU Center. 

 

The Sharks will be holding Sharks Crew tryouts on October 1st at 7:00p.m. at the DCU Center.  Please enter through Door 5 located off of Major Taylor Blvd. no later than 6:45p.m.  Make sure to bring your skates with you!

 

Basic functions of the job include:

• Execute sponsored promotions on and off the ice
• Choose participants for in-game contests
• Promote a positive fan experience

 

Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older by September 1, 2008
• Available for a minimum of 30 home games and all playoff games
• Shifts will begin 3 hours before the games and end approximately 30 minutes after the game (typically from 4:30p.m. to 10:00p.m.)
• Must be able to pass the Massachusetts required background check
• Team player in every sense of the word

 

Necessary Skills:
• Ability to skate
• Ability to work with different age groups
• Able to learning new skills quickly
• Ability to process information in an organized, efficient manner
• Outgoing, enthusiastic personality; enjoys working in the public eye

Compensation:
• Paid on a per game basis
