This week FINZ and the Worcester Sharks have been very busy.  Out and about in the community, here is where we have been in the past week and where we are headed.

 

 

 

 

 

Diamond Auto Group Wednesday Cruise Night!  From 6:30-7:30 p.m.  FINZ appeared at the last Diamond Auto Group Wednesday Cruise Night for the summer.  This event was in Worcester.  Diamond Auto Group and JamnPromotions were sad to say goodbye to summer but the Wednesday Cruise Night went out with a bang!  Hundreds of people showed up to meet FINZ, check out the cars and motorcycles, enjoy the FINTASTIC weather and listen to music.  It was a great gathering for friends and families of all kinds.

            FINZ goes to Rainbow Camp!  The Worcester Sharks along with Fidelity Investments visited the children from the Rainbow Child Develpment Center of Worcester at the Treasure Valley Camp grounds.  FINZ spent time playing games with his fans and the new friends he made!  He gave away fun prizes like Sharks tattoos and keychains and was full of high fives for all the campers.  Hopefully the hundreds of people that showed up not only enjoyed the nice weather but had a SHARK of a time with FINZ!

 

 

 

 

            WEEI / Jimmy Fund Radio Telethon!  FINZ appeared at the Telethon from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at DICK’s Sporting Goods at the Lincoln Street Plaza in Worcester.  WEEI and Jimmy Fund started this event at 9:00 a.m. and hundreds of people showed up to show their support for this great organization.  Everyone’s favorite SHARK FINZ played games with his fans, won raffle prizes and spent time learning more about the incredible job the Jimmy Fund has been doing for Cancer research.  Luckily the weather was nice and everyone who showed up had a fun and rewarding time.

 

 

  

 

 

            FINZ goes bowling at AMF Auburn Lanes!  FINZ started off his busy day by attending the AMF Auburn Lanes Junior Registration.  From 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. FINZ met with fans, made new friends, and even bowled!  Fans, friends and families got the chance to learn more about the Worcester Sharks while registering for a bowling league!  The Worcester Sharks table was hopping, and we were happy to see so many of you there!

 

 

 

 

            Midstate Junior Sharks Tournament!  The Worcester Sharks staff members teed off at 1:30 p.m. and had a SHARKTASTIC time!  FINZ even had the chance to stop by despite his busy!  Luckily the weather was beautiful for this great tournament which took place at Leicester Country Club in Leicester, MA.

 

 

 

 

            FINZ appears at the WXLO Cutest Kids Expo!  From 1:00-2:00 p.m. FINZ attended this event at the Auburn Mall!  He had a blast enjoying the great music, the fun games, the awesome prizes and the vendors from all over!  This was a great event not only for children, but for adults as well.  So thanks to all of the families and friends who showed up to this event, FINZ was so excited to see you!

 

 

 

 

            10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.  Join FINZ to donate blood at the American Red Cross Blood Drive.  This event is going to be held in the DCU Convention Center and is being hosted by the Worcester Sharks and the New England Surge.  Make sure to stop by this event for such a worthy cause because not only do you get to donate and meet FINZ, but you even can get free tickets to a game!  We hope to see you all there!

 

            7:15 p.m.  FINZ and the Worcester Sharks will be attending the Worcester Tornadoes game versus the Ottawa Rapids!   Summer is not over yet, and this Back to School Night is bound to be a hit!  The first 1000 kids who show up to this game even get a free Tornadoes sling backpack!  Enjoy raffle prizes from the Worcester Sharks as well, and don’t forget to check out our table to learn more about the 2009 AHL All-Star Classic.

 

            9:30-10:30 a.m.  Join FINZ at the Holden Days 2008 event!  Holden Area Chamber of Commerce has put together their annual community event which will take place up and down Holden’s Main Street.  FINZ has attended this event in the past and had FINTASTIC time so he is really looking forward to it this weekend!  There will be a Kids Court, an Art Lot, a Business Area and a Food Court so it will be fun for the whole family!

 

            12:00-1:30 p.m.  FINZ will be going to the Northbridge Youth Soccer Annual Soccer Festival.  This event is being held at the American Legion Field in Northbridge, Massachusetts.  Stop by to meet FINZ, enjoy fun games and prizes, and great food!  Click HERE for more information about this exciting event!
